We were in Oswego, NY on Saturday, June 7, 2008 Thanks to all who came out to catch the show and an extra special thanks to the the volunteers and behind-the-scenes folks who made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. To those who didn't make it, you missed a fun one…we had a blast!!
That's right! Dave is recording a new CD of solo material. Stuff that has been rattling around for a while that just never seemed to fit the trio. Hear and download samples of it on the Download Music page. Speaking of the new CD, we have developed a new method to involve our fans in the process of making CDs. CD production is very expensive and in order for us to complete a project we have to raise some cash. So we are starting a way for you to become involved by directly funding the CD. 4th ANNUAL BENEFIT CONCERTMaine performers Schooner Fare, Dave Rowe Trio, Denny Breau, Tim Sample and Phil House, celebrated the music legacy of Tom Rowe with a concert to raise awareness and over $7,100 for the Maine Cancer Foundation. The humble Farmer, Robert Skoglund emceed this event.
The show was a tremendous success! Thank you to all who came and helped give us another sold-out crowd for the fourth year and counting. Mark you calendars now for next year on May 9, 2009. The show is always the night before Mother's Day, so make it your tradition as it is ours.
